    Individual Psychotherapy

It belongs to the imperfection of everything human that man can only attain his desire by passing through its opposite.

    - Kierkegaard

Psychotherapy is a process of discovery. Despite exertion of independent effort and contemplation, perplexing concerns and frustrations of self and situation can remain fixed. In the therapeutic process, one may deepen self understanding and awareness, develop insight and perspective on one's life and relationships, and co-create a more cohesive, empowered, and compassionate narrative of one's experience.

    Couples Psychotherapy

Like a jar you housed infinite tenderness and the infinite oblivion shattered you like a jar.

    - Neruda

Many interpersonal dynamics and individual experiences can create distance between partners. One who once was experienced as known and familiar becomes unrecognizable. Once immaterial slights can become painful affronts. Psychotherapy provides a space and context, in which partners can begin a dialogue. A process of seeking understanding, discovering perspective, renewing attachment, and developing potential for intimacy.
